We are proud to announce that the Alohi suite of products are now SOC 2 Type 2 certified, which follows our strict commitment to data security and privacy of the customers’ sensitive data. Our latest SOC 2 Type 2 certification comes on the heels of our SOC 2 Type 1 certification and adds one extra layer of security, privacy, and compliance controls to customers’ data.

What is SOC 2 Type 2 certification?

SOC 2 Type 2 compliance is a certification that verifies that a service organization has the necessary controls in place to protect the confidentiality and integrity of its customers’ data. It captures how a company safeguards customer data and how well those controls are operating.

Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification demonstrates that a service organization is committed to protecting its customers’ data and maintaining its trustworthiness. This can give customers peace of mind, knowing their data is safe and secure, and provide service organizations with a competitive edge in the marketplace.

About Alohi SOC 2 Type 2 Report

Our SOC 2 Type 2 report is a detailed level of controls-based assurance, covering the Trust Service Criteria for Security (TSP Section 100). It also includes a thorough description of Alohi’s processes and the numerous controls in place to protect customer data. This report was carried out by a globally known and reputable EY CertifyPoint auditors and it certifies the effective design and operation of our controls.

Our SOC 2 report is performed under:

• SSAE No. 18, Attestation Standards: Clarification and Recodification, which includes AT-C section 105, Concepts Common to All Attestation Engagements, and AT-C section 205, Examination Engagements (AICPA, Professional Standards).
• SOC 2 Reporting on an Examination of Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security.
• TSP section 100, 2017 Trust Services Criteria for Security.
